If you are unable to make it to step 10 because a cult of some kind has you  irrationally brainwashed, than please, please think about this. I have already bet my life, for you, period:

10 Steps to “Religious Enlightenment”

1: Simply list 9 of the largest cults/ faith/religions that exists or ever has existed, like Greek mythology and current countries full of people that don’t like you.

2: Acquire 10 marbles.

3: Write your religion on 1 of the marbles.

4: Label each of the remaining 9 with one of the cults or religions that is it not yours.

5: Make  two piles. Right and, basically, wrong.

6: Is there now 9 in one pile and 1 is alone? (If there is only one pile, and or half and half, then the following is not for you. It  is most likely a waste of your time.)

7: Each and every one of the 9 is a different man-made system of controlling people. They are all man-made up. They are all individually unique and different. They are all independent functional systems of people that only operates, because the population has been brainwashed into having faith/believing in lies. All these people will die and or kill themselves for bullshit they believe, that you know for a fact is not real. Not only does your religion tell you they are wrong, you have science, reason, and basic common sense to back it up.

8: Agree with everything so far?

9: Each of them can independently look at your religion with science, reason, and basic common sense. Let alone what [their man-made up god] has to say on the matter.

10: …

I believe there is a God name is Jehova who has a son Jesus christ can you show me that your relegion is real i have proof of mine he is helping me on the way protecting me what does yours do do he resolves you problem??

  2. whoisantichrist says:

God is energy/everything. That is probably about as far as we will agree on a definition. However: a) Because God is energy/everything than there is proof of my God. b)The law of attraction is a law. You do not need believe in this fact. Whatever you want out of life, just focus on it, and it becomes. Therefore, when/if a problem arises, everything always works itself out. Bro, please start back at step 1 again, just focus this time. You are most likely a good person, that uses religion for good. The problem is there are lots of people that are evil, that use religion for bad. Everything that a man tells you to have "faith" in, is made up. Not just everyone else's faith. All faith, all the way across. I don't wish to entice hostility, but you have no proof your religion is real. Absolutely none. That is because none exists. I am the fatherless child of the preachers daughter. I was convinced of my divinity as a child and decided to use the tools of science, math, and the human brain to prove my father to the world. This quest to prove Him 100% real has led me to feel compelled to share my findings with the world. There is no evidence anywhere that any faith is real. There is evidence though, of why and how each religion is made, spread, and maintained. Except yours of course…

Well, now, all I'm reading is a hypothetical situation with marbles, and forgive me for being "slow" but what is the ultimate assertion here? I'm confused…I though only Jesus spoke in parables…o.0

Is the implication being that personal monotheistic belief is subjective and that all "religions"–equally, across the board–are subjective "truths" that man has created as a form of mass control? Sorry, I'm slow to grasp what the summary of the post means.

  4. whoisantichrist says:

This was intended to be a very simple step toward understanding the world around all of us. It is a gift from me, to, well, you. Don't consider yourself "slow", but if if believe a supernatural Jesus actually existed, you are indeed brainwashed. This is not shameful, as every cult/religion in the world rely on indoctrinating children.
The post was meant to keep it simple. Every religion that has ever existed (except yours) was made up out of thin air. YOU KNOW THIS TO BE FACT!! The nature of mankind is greed, domination, and control. You should know this to be a fact. Every society that has ever existed on Earth has three things in common, that all have to be MADE UP; 1) Language 2)Bartering system (money) 3)Religion. This is a fact.
Your question regarded the "truths" that man CREATED. Man can speak the truth, but CREATES lies. It is mass control. It's how it works. It's also very simple. For instance, when a child believes in Santa, they rationalize and justify anything and everything they can touch or think. Once the child is on the other side of the "hump" however, it is simple to look at Santa as a whole and easily understand it is all bullshit intended to control a human mind. Blindfolded fear is not a virtue, it is the height ignorance…

  5. Linds says:

:) interesting choice of words: brainwashed….Jesus said, "you are already clean because the word I have spoken to you." I know, I know, hence: I've been brainwashed! You seem to have quite a strong position against religions.

Lets place religion aside momentarily and really delve into facts. Truth vs Facts. Is it a fact that the sun will rise tommorow? That an element will ultimately decay according to it's half life? No. We know that the sun has risen innumerable times….enough to say the probability of the sun rising is remarkably high. So no, it is not a fact the sun will rise because there is a slight, even almost immeasurable chance that it will not rise. So the fact being that there is a remarkably high probability that the sun will rise tommorow. That's truth. That being said, is it a fact that Helium will decay into hydrogen and release an alpha particle? (BTW, I truly don't know what particles helium decays into but that wouldn't be a horrible guess). The answer is no, it isn't guaranteed to do such. The truth however, is that it may or may not decay. In fact, some assert that an atom 50% of the time decays. woah!

Anyway, my point is that obviously considering the above, we live in a world not of facts, but probabilities. Is it a fact that every religion was made up out of thin air? Well, no. Because there is not sufficient evidence to determine whether that is true. In fact, the God of Abraham, isaac, and Jacob actually initiated the man-God relationship versus man seeking "enlightenment" and finally attaining it under a tree subsequently. To be fair, what have stated is not a fact, but an opinion or conclusion based off of what appears to be a distrust of the moral character of mankind. Fair. In fact, I think that is ok.

So "truth" ultimately does not care for subjective reasoning. That being said, it is a fact that God could not be real. It is also a fact that God could be. Take it further and place Jesus into the mix: it could be a fact that Jesus is the Son of God sent to redeem mankind. It could be a fact that Jesus is not. So now, here's the beauty or ugliness (depending on perspective): While there is adequate evidence refuting and backing up the claims of Christianity God made it so that you could find out only through a subjective experience that He is real. Free will.

Although I do not agree with your example (the sun will rise tomorrow and that IS a fact, or to be more precise, if it didn't it wouldn't be because something changed or works differently but because of another outside factor, f.e. someone used a giant harpoon to move the earth away), it will serve. I can accept there is a possibility for god to be real, if you accept it is an extremely small possibility. Even if we agree that no truth is irrefutable (I disagree) and fact is just the "almost" certain, you cannot have two opposite possibilities and claim both are facts. But above all else, while there is adequate evidence refuting the claims of christianity, there simply isn't any real evidence in its favour – and by evidence, we mean actual, testable stuff. You can't equate scientific facts with religious faith based on "well, you can't be more than 99.999999% certain yourself".

PS. Truth does indeed not care for subjective reasoning. But there is such a thing as objective reasoning, even if it sometimes hard to apply.

  7. Linds says:

There is quite a plethora of evidence to back up claims of Christianity: the bible, the millions of people who can testify of God revealing Himself in their own lives. With many people as yourself it all boils down to presupposition. You hold the position there is no God, Christianity is false, etc. Even if 600 people literally witnessed Jesus at once you would claim it was mass hysteria. If a woman is healed after prayer of a stage four brain tumor after doctors have tried everything and given her less than a month to live it would be a coincidence. If I told you that God healed my car, that He called me by name–in Hebrew, you would immediately search for the rational answer in order to back up the claim. What would it take for you to believe? God Himself coming down to earth? He already did that and left a promise that He'd be back. And He loosed a Holy Spirit that still moves in major ways–the majority is quite in favor of a God.

There's a couple documentaries of demonstrated moves of God. I think whether a believer or not, you'd still find them interesting to see–even if it is to judge as false: Finger of God and the second is Furious Love. Finger of God can be found on YouTube for free.

Thank you for sharing your position with me.

  8. Vampy_Ra says:

It's simple; this is NOT evidence! If not for any other reason, because I can find you just as many, or more, Muslims (for example) to testify the same things. Do you believe them?
God came himself down to earth? Zeus revealed himself to far more people. Yours is the same kind of 'evidence' that every religion has. Every one. Which is what the point of the original post is by the way.
And yes, to be perfectly honest, if 600 people literally witnessed Jesus at once, I would claim it was mass hysteria (or something), because it would still be a more plausible explanation.

  9. whoisantichrist says:

Thank you for sharing your position. Now rationally start at the very top of this post and start over. You can explain yourself into a circle with as much "lack of fact" as the sun rising as you want, but it reveals nothing. Basically; we exist. Do you accept this as fact or is it just a probability? We are able to comprehend existence and a barrier to the unknown. This is a fact as defined by science. Understanding the inert nature of man, using a just a tiny little bit of reason, and choosing to believe scientific fact : Makes it really easy to stand back and see that everyone of any faith, is deceived into believing lies. Not just everyone except the faith "you" believe in…
If there was just 1 paragraph I could write to "enlighten" everyone that read it, I would write it on everything in the world. However, it probably doesn't exist. The truth is, this is a scary argument. Hell is in the crosshairs!! Hell does not exist. All things considered it just rationally, can't. A just God, all knowing that never fucks up, but does… Blah, blah, blah. This is seriously an elementary argument.
Think about this: The bible has existed for thousands of years and all these people around the world follow it. Yet it still requires faith, as no actual evidence has been found since its creation to make it valid. Think yourself in a circle, or "wake up" like some of us have been fortunate enough to do.
