I believe a very important step in furthering our atheist agenda is to create a petition that would make it illegal for any child under the age of 18 (when they can make their own decisions) to be baptized into any religion whatsoever, that way they can never be truly indoctrinated into the malicious religious machine/ they can avoid being brainwashed and having the fear of God put into them at such an early age. I understand that this is an almost laughable goal, however I also believe that without that integral step, we shall never truly be free of our spiritual enslavement. If anyone can point me in the proper direction for such a cause i would greatly appreciate it. And may the FSM bless you all.

I have heard a lot of people talk about how violent Christianity is, how bad it's history is, and when some of them talk about Christians, they lump us all into one group, with the zealots and the extremists. Not all of us are dead set on converting the world, many of us, quite a few of us, infact, just want to live in a world where we can worship as we please, where we can pray in public, or carry a Bible and not get kicked out of school. Tolerance breeds tolerance, just as intolerance breeds intolerance, to live peacefully, we need to accept people, and not just judge them based solely on the worst members of their religion.

First off, I'm going to start by saying that I am a Christian, I have been as long as I can remember. No, I wasn't raised Christian, in fact, neither of my parents were religious at all, so I'm not brainwashed or anything. Secondly, I have no problem with Islam, or Muslims, my uncle was a Muslim/Christian, and from what I've been told, he was a wonderful person. I wonder, though, why are Atheists so set on trying to debunk God, why are you so set on not believing in him? Do you have something to loose by believing? You use many of the horrible events that happened in the Bible to try and show that God is not loving, and avoid the good ones for the most part entirely.

Muslims also talk about jihad. That is where everyone that is not Muslim is to be put to death. I cant quote the verse, but the Koran states "lie to their face and stab unbelievers in the back". Hindu's may believe that as long as you're good, you enter into Nirvana. If you're following their idea of "good" you go to heaven. A differing view of "good" from theirs would be considered "wrong"?
Christianity vs Judiaism: Same thing. One just adds the man made new testament, that was spread by force thru the Dark Ages. Hence the dark ages…
From my understanding repenting doesn't even require a short prayer. You can repent or commit the unforgivable sin of doubt within milliseconds. I am not saying things that aren't true as fact. I'm mentioning facts. Along with some "facts" that can be backed up just as accurately as what time the tooth fairy leaves each night…
I don't think I've mentioned a thing about what I believe. I've just been mentioning facts, logic, and common sense. Go study a little bit so we can have a good conversation!

I hope the Lord, our savior, shows himself to me. Heck merely dropping off a single actual shred of evidence could do wonders for the entire human race.
This is really quite simple. I am a "nonbeliever" based on research and logic, not someone cramming anything down my throat. As a child, I was instilled with the word of the Lord and the knowledge it provides. Ever since I was able to think, I was rationalizing life and set to unequivocally prove our Lord to the world. Today I have faith in nothing, as faith simply means NO EVIDENCE, BLINDLY FOLLOW! You know this to be a fact for every religion that is not yours. I don't know how to make this much simpler. Mankind is inherently evil. Man uses manipulation and fear to control. In two thousand years, not a single person has encountered a single rational piece of evidence. It is not a stretch for Christianity to be completely made up, just like all the others.

Thank you for sharing your position. Now rationally start at the very top of this post and start over. You can explain yourself into a circle with as much "lack of fact" as the sun rising as you want, but it reveals nothing. Basically; we exist. Do you accept this as fact or is it just a probability? We are able to comprehend existence and a barrier to the unknown. This is a fact as defined by science. Understanding the inert nature of man, using a just a tiny little bit of reason, and choosing to believe scientific fact : Makes it really easy to stand back and see that everyone of any faith, is deceived into believing lies. Not just everyone except the faith "you" believe in…
If there was just 1 paragraph I could write to "enlighten" everyone that read it, I would write it on everything in the world. However, it probably doesn't exist. The truth is, this is a scary argument. Hell is in the crosshairs!! Hell does not exist. All things considered it just rationally, can't. A just God, all knowing that never fucks up, but does… Blah, blah, blah. This is seriously an elementary argument.
Think about this: The bible has existed for thousands of years and all these people around the world follow it. Yet it still requires faith, as no actual evidence has been found since its creation to make it valid. Think yourself in a circle, or "wake up" like some of us have been fortunate enough to do.

Answering just the first part, my opinion does not come into factor here. The argument that there is no "God" is based on facts, reason, science, mathematics,and therefore pure common sense. There is no evidence anywhere that your faith is real. No matter which one it is. I can proclaim this as fact because you will not need faith anymore, once there is evidence…
